Today we went to the main plaza area to visit some bookstores. We also went to two visit centers and got information and places to go and see while we are here. We went to VIPs for dinner. They boys played on the playard and Justin and Jeremy again found some friends to play with.

We are going to take the boys to visit a play center which is very close to where we are and a few blocks away from the second school that the boys are going to.

It is called Las Aventuras De Tic Y Tac. They have a TV show and a magazine. Here is the URL www.lasaventurasdeticytac.com

We were greeted in the room by a 3 inch gecko which we chased out the patio door. It is very nice and clean and secure. We have 2 beds, one bath, living room/dining room area, a sink, stove, and 4ft high refridgerator which we are making good use of.

Walmart is up the street about 25 minutes. It is big and has a grocery store section. But they do not carry all the items that they do in the states.

We have taken many a taxis and the streets are up and down and it is like a roller coaster ride when you drive in one.

We have been to the plaza and seen many things.

Las Rosas Bungalows

This places was not too bad. It was quiet (except at night) and clean. They have a little cafe and the lady who did the cooking was very nice. She came and asked us if we needed breakfast the next day because she was going on vacation.

The Bungalows had a nice swimming pool with a smaller section for the kids. Justin and Jeremy had fun and met their first friend named Hector. He was pretty funny. His family chatted with us and offered us some cerviche. At night there were these birds that chirped starting at about 8pm til 6am the next morning. The first room we stayed in had 2 rooms and stove, sink, and refridgerator. Then the second night we moved to another room which had 2 beds and no sink, stove or refridgerator.

We did some day travel and found our next spot to stay which is our permanent camp for the rest of the trip.

Ocotepec, MX July 3rd 2009

Today we traveled to Ocotepec to see the general area where the boys will attend school. I bought some shoes while the boys watched shop for the lady who took me to the back. The potty had a curtain which was blowing in the wind. It is very hard to pee and have the curtain blowing open. We also looked a small hotel off the main street which was about 3 blocks from the school. We also found a church and the boys played while got oriented to the area. I had to go potty (which is the theme for this travel) and found a potty where I had to pay $3 pesos and the lady handed me a few sheets of toilet paper. I then headed to the area where the stalls are and they are short stalls. Funny how things are set up differently in other cities, countries, etc.IMG_0863.jpgIMG_0862.jpg

Today we arrived in Mexico City Airport and took a Holiday Inn Shuttle bus to the hotel. The hotel was very nice and we had dinner at the hotel and then ate breakfast the following morning. It was clean. We could hear the street taffic all night. We took the shuttle back to the hotel to catch the Groupo De Pullman bus to Cuernavaca. This is a great bus and we had a bus attendant. She gave us drinks and cookies. There was a movie playing and we arrived about 1.5 hours later. We checked into the Las Rosas Boungalows.
